Monet - Houses of Parliament (1903)

I asked Daniela Visone why she chose this painting. She said she had always wanted to paint it in oils, so it seemed a good choice for the Copy Art category of the James Carling Pavement Art Competition. The colours were wonderful - like the pavement was ablaze. Five days later (see bottom photo) the fire was almost out - such is the fate of pavement art!
